Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt

Sweet, nostalgic, and full of vintage charm, this Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt is a delightful example of mid-century American quiltmaking. Measuring 60" x 76", the quilt features twelve hand-appliquéd Sunbonnet Sue figures, each dressed in a unique combination of colorful printed cotton fabrics and set against a striking turquoise lattice background. The bold blanket-stitch appliqué adds wonderful folk-art character, while the cheerful color palette makes this quilt a standout piece for display or everyday enjoyment.

Hand quilted throughout and finished with an applied binding, this quilt showcases beautiful quilting designs that create exceptional texture and dimension across the surface. The flannel backing and thick batting give the quilt a substantial weight and cozy feel, making it wonderfully soft and inviting. In excellent condition, this quilt has been lovingly cared for and remains a beautiful example of the craftsmanship, warmth, and charm that make vintage quilts so special.
