Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt

Sweet, simple, and full of handmade charm, this vintage quilt features twelve whimsical folk-art style little girls dressed in pink and blue gingham dresses. Each figure has been appliquéd onto a crisp white background and accented with hand-worked blanket stitching and delicate embroidered floral details. The playful design and cheerful color palette make this a wonderful quilt for display in a nursery, child's room, or farmhouse-inspired space.

Measuring approximately 60" x 70", this quilt is machine stitched and machine bound with an applied binding. It is a lightweight quilt with no batting, giving it a soft drape and making it ideal for decorative use. The quilt remains in vintage condition with stains and spotting present on the back, as shown in the photos. Dating to approximately 1965–1975, this piece reflects the wholesome, handmade nursery quilts that were popular during the late mid-century era and offers plenty of nostalgic country charm.

This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads.
