This beautiful 72" x 110" Sunshine and Shadows Nine Patch Quilt is a striking example of Depression-era scrap quilting, blending classic Sunshine and Shadows diagonal movement with charming Nine Patch blocks. The quilt is pieced from an exceptional assortment of vintage cottons, including authentic feedsack prints, woven ginghams, colorful florals, shirtings, novelty prints, paisleys, and striped fabrics. The carefully balanced colors create a lively yet harmonious design that draws the eye across the quilt, showcasing the maker's creativity and resourcefulness. It is finished with an applied binding that has been hand stitched, while the quilting is machine stitched over lightweight batting, giving the quilt a soft drape and wonderful vintage character. A few small spots take nothing away from this beauty. 

This quilt is both visually captivating and rich in textile history, making it a wonderful addition to any collection or farmhouse-inspired home.
