THIS IS A CUTTER/STACKER

This wonderfully soft Double Wedding Ring cutter quilt features scrappy rings pieced from a charming assortment of small florals, plaids, checks and dress-weight cottons, many consistent with feedsack-era fabrics. Alternating dusty-pink and soft-green intersections bring gentle order to the colorful rings, while the scalloped perimeter beautifully follows the curves of the pattern. Measuring approximately 68" x 82", the quilt has an applied binding that is hand stitched in place. The quilting is also hand stitched, and the thin batting has shifted in some areas. Based on its fabrics, colors and construction, this quilt dates approximately circa 1930s–1940s.

This quilt is being sold as a cutter due to fabric loss, holes, fading and general deterioration throughout. The binding also shows age and wear. Despite its condition, it remains incredibly soft and beautiful, with lovely vintage fabrics and plenty of character. It would be wonderful for repurposing into pillows, framed textile pieces, small sewing projects or other creative work that gives its surviving sections a second life.

This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads. Any cleaning decisions have been left to the next caretaker to preserve the quilt according to their preferences.
