Vintage Old Mill Wheel Quilt 

Soft as a cloud and beautifully crafted, this stunning Old Mill Wheel quilt dates to approximately the 1940s–1950s and measures an impressive 94" x 96". The timeless blue-and-white design is created from quarter-circle blocks that come together to form the classic wheel motif, giving the quilt a fresh, airy look that feels just as at home today as it did decades ago. Hand quilted and hand bound, this piece showcases the care and craftsmanship of its maker while offering the warmth and character only a vintage quilt can provide.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no spots or stains noted. There is some gentle fading to the blue fabric, adding to its authentic vintage charm without detracting from its beauty. Turn the quilt over and you'll discover a lovely coordinating floral backing fabric in soft blue and white, which has been wrapped to the front to create the binding—a charming finishing detail often seen in vintage utility quilts. Truth be told, if this quilt doesn't find a new home soon, I may have to claim it for my personal collection. It's exactly the kind of quilt I love living with, and I can easily picture it becoming the quilt that lives on my own bed for years to come.
