This is a Cutter/Stacker Quilt

Meet a truly unique 12-Point Dresden Plate Variation Cutter Quilt, measuring approximately 72" x 81". This quilt features rows of dimensional Dresden-inspired floral rosettes in soft lavender tones, creating a charming cottage and country-style look. Each rosette is formed from twelve pointed blades surrounding a lavender center, giving the quilt wonderful texture and visual interest. The quilt is hand quilted and hand bound, and the reverse showcases a beautiful vintage backing fabric that adds to its appeal. This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads.

This quilt is being offered as a cutter quilt due to the condition of many of the Dresden plates. As shown in the photos, numerous rosettes exhibit fabric deterioration, and you will notice safety pins that have been used to help hold fragile fabric sections in place. While the quilt is no longer suitable as a primary bed covering, it offers an abundance of creative potential for repurposing projects. The dimensional Dresden motifs would be wonderful for pillows, bags, wall art, textile collage work, and other one-of-a-kind creations. A unique piece of quilting history with plenty of character still left to share.
