Soft, sweet, and full of vintage charm, this Double Wedding Ring quilt is a beautiful example of one of America's most beloved quilt patterns. Measuring 74" x 80", it features a rainbow of delicate pastel feedsack fabrics set against a crisp white background, with lovely lavender and yellow anchor squares adding extra charm throughout the design. The scalloped edge gives this quilt a graceful, romantic finish, while the hand quilting creates wonderful texture across the surface. Hand bound and finished with a thin batting, this quilt has a light, airy feel that drapes beautifully. Janj Threads has carefully laundered this quilt, and it presents beautifully with no yellowing, spots, or stains.

As with many well-loved quilts of this age, there are signs of a life well lived. The pink binding shows fraying, the lavender and yellow anchor squares exhibit fabric wear, and there are two holes on the quilt front. Even so, the overall presentation remains striking, and the pastel feedsack fabrics are simply delightful. Whether displayed on a bed, draped over a favorite chair, or hung as textile art, this quilt still has plenty of beauty left to share. Circa 1930s–1940s, during the height of the feedsack era, when resourceful quilters transformed humble flour and feed sacks into works of enduring beauty.
