Vintage Cutter Quilt Tulip Applique

THIS IS A CUTTER QUILT

This charming vintage cutter quilt is filled with sweet farmhouse character and the promise of a beautiful second life. Measuring approximately 58" wide x 76" long, the quilt features lovely appliquéd tulip blocks framed by soft green sashing on a creamy background. Time and use have left this piece better suited for repurposing than everyday bedding, but the surviving tulip blocks are simply too pretty not to be saved and loved again.

At Janj Threads, we can easily picture these cheerful tulips becoming one-of-a-kind pillows, totes, table runners, wall hangings, or other treasured handmade pieces. The quilt has a soft aged texture and a wonderfully nostalgic feel that only vintage textiles can offer. Please note this quilt has not been laundered since coming into our possession and does carry a slight basement/storage odor. Even so, it remains a lovely piece for makers, collectors, and creatives who appreciate the beauty found in well-worn vintage quilts and the stories stitched into every block.
