Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt

This charming Vintage Sunbonnet Sue Quilt is a delightful example of mid-century quiltmaking, featuring thirty hand-appliquéd Sunbonnet Sue figures dressed in an assortment of whimsical prints and novelty fabrics. One particularly noteworthy fabric depicts vintage telephones, a print that helps date the quilt to approximately the 1960s–1970s. Set against soft white blocks and framed with lovely lavender sashing, the quilt is hand quilted throughout with graceful feather and floral motifs that add texture and depth to every inch.

Measuring 82" x 92", this generously sized quilt is hand quilted and hand bound and remains in excellent condition. There are no notable stains, blemishes, fabric loss, or repairs observed. The wide variety of fabrics, cheerful color palette, and folk-art charm make this a wonderful collector's piece as well as a beautiful quilt for display or everyday enjoyment. A sweet and nostalgic treasure that captures the enduring appeal of the beloved Sunbonnet Sue pattern.
