Vintage Quilt Trip Around the World

This generously sized Trip Around the World quilt features colorful squares arranged in expanding concentric diamonds. Its warm harvest palette of chocolate brown, rust orange, mustard yellow, cream, paisleys, florals, stripes, and small calico prints is wonderfully representative of the 1970s country style.

Measuring 98" x 104", the quilt is hand quilted and finished with a backing wrapped from back to front and stitched by hand. Thin batting provides a soft drape with slight loftiness. This clean, soft quilt likely dates to the 1970s to early 1980s, with the 1970s appearing most likely. Please review all photographs for condition and details.

This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads. Any cleaning decisions have been left to the next caretaker to preserve the quilt according to their preferences. I highly recommend testing the colors for fastness before washing this quilt.
