Vintage Quilt - Sampler Block with Aqua Setting Quilt

A little patchwork variety and plenty of vintage charm! This sampler quilt brings together colorful fans, stars, and geometric blocks against a soft aqua setting. Small florals, checks, and a delightful print featuring orange houses and green trees give each block its own personality.

Hand quilting in a sweeping fan design travels across the quilt, adding beautiful texture to both the patchwork and the open aqua spaces. An applied, hand-stitched binding finishes the edges, while medium-weight batting with a bit of loft gives it a cozy feel.

Measuring 65" x 87", this quilt is structurally sound with no notable spots. Some fading is present on both the front and back, with more significant fading on the back. Pink quilter’s guidelines remain visible in a few areas, suggesting that the quilt may never have been washed, although its laundering history is unknown.

A charming vintage sampler with an inviting mix of fabrics, hand-stitched texture, and a soft aqua backdrop that ties it all together.

This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads. Any cleaning decisions have been left to the next caretaker to preserve the quilt according to their preferences.

  • Condition: Excellent structural shape with some fading on both the front and back. See Photos.
  • Circa: 1930s–1950s, likely 1940s, based on the fabric prints, color palette, and construction.
  • Size: 65" x 87"
  • Batting: Medium weight and a bit lofty
  • Standout: Fun sampler!
  • Shipping: (within the continental U.S.) shipping/insurance is included in the price of the item.
