Vintage Quilt LeMoyne Star Quilt . 

This charming Vintage LeMoyne Star quilt features a lively collection of eight-pointed stars arranged within soft aqua sashing and small pink cornerstones. Its wonderfully varied fabrics include vintage floral, geometric and novelty dress prints, along with cottons that appear to have originated from feedsacks. The pastel palette and broad assortment of printed cottons support a circa 1940s date. Measuring approximately 64" x 75", it has thin batting and is hand quilted throughout. The applied binding is also finished by hand.

Softened by years of use, this quilt has the comfortable texture and gentle character collectors appreciate in a well-loved vintage textile. The binding shows some fraying throughout, and there is a small hole along with a few scattered spots. Otherwise, the quilt is clean and presents beautifully, with its scrappy stars, lovely vintage fabrics and hand-stitched construction making it a delightful addition to a collection or farmhouse-inspired home.

This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads. Any cleaning decisions have been left to the next caretaker to preserve the quilt according to their preferences.
