This is a Cutter/Stacker Quilt

Soft pastel colors and timeless Double Wedding Ring charm come together in this beautiful vintage cutter quilt. Measuring 77" x 80", this quilt features a lovely collection of seafoam greens, delicate florals, and cheerful pink prints that create a light, cottage-inspired palette. The fabrics appear to be a mix of feedsack-era prints, dress fabrics, and household textiles, giving the quilt a distinctly mid-century feel. Each ring is carefully hand pieced, and the quilt is finished with hand quilting and a hand-bound knife-edge finish that showcases the maker's craftsmanship. The lofty batting gives the quilt a soft, cushy feel and adds wonderful dimension to the quilting. Though no longer suitable as a whole quilt, it still offers an abundance of beautiful fabric and design elements ready for a second life. This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads.

This cutter quilt is an excellent candidate for repurposing into pillows, bags, jackets, wall hangings, holiday décor, or other one-of-a-kind creations. The soft pastel palette feels fresh and timeless, while the Double Wedding Ring pattern remains one of the most beloved quilt designs ever made. Based on the fabrics and construction, I would estimate this quilt dates to approximately the 1950s–1970s, though some fabrics may be older. This quilt has not been laundered by Janj Threads. A wonderful opportunity to preserve and celebrate vintage textiles while creating something entirely new—the very heart of the Janj Threads philosophy.
