Treasures Worth Keeping
Some quilts are meant to be held onto. These are the ones that stopped us in our tracks — found tucked away at an estate sale, folded carefully on a flea market table, or hidden beneath a pile of forgotten things just waiting to be discovered again.
Each whole quilt in our collection has stood the test of time. They arrive in fair to excellent condition, some, their colors still rich, their stitching still strong — a testament to the hands that made them and the homes that loved them. Others show more wear and scars from the lives they have lived. Finding the bests one is a genuine joy.
Before we list a quilt for sale, we carefully determine if washing is in the best interest of the quilt. Sometimes to maintain, color, dye, and fabric, we choose not to launder the quilt. Where we find small imperfections — a loose stitch, a tiny fray — we may choose to mend them by hand or to pass them along with the imperfection as part of the heritage of the quilt.
These quilts need nothing from you but a home. Use them, love them, pass them on.
